What to Expect When You Visit Your Closest ER

To start off, our highly trained emergency room team will ask for basic things like your medical history and the reason for your visit. After we learn this information and take your vital signs, we’ll help you find relief in the safest, fastest way possible.

Since emergencies are so unpredictable, it’s a good idea to keep certain information with you wherever you go. Consider carrying an information card in your wallet or purse, including things on it like the name and number of your primary care physician, a list of medications you take and any drug allergies you have, and advance directives like health care proxy or power of attorney. The more information we have, the better we can serve.

Through a process known as triage, we'll assess your needs and see those with more serious emergencies, like a stroke or heart attack, first.
