Making Your Visit Easier

So You Can Focus on What Matters Most

You bring joy and relief to those you visit at AdventHealth Durand, formerly Chippewa Valley Hospital. A familiar face. A friendly hug. A smile that says you care. Whether you stay for hours or minutes, your visit helps your loved one heal.

We encourage visitors to our hospital in Pepin County, so we've gathered the information you'll need, like a hospital map and a list of hospital amenities. We also want to make your visit as easy and stress-free as possible, so feel free to relax in our lobby or reflect in our peaceful chapel. If you need anything, just ask a nurse or staff member. Thank you for caring about our patients. We're glad you're here.

Spiritual Amenities

Non-Denominational Chapel

As a faith-based health-care provider, we recognize that a peaceful chapel helps many visitors recharge spiritually and emotionally. Our onsite chapel is open to guests of all denominations.

Pastoral Care

As a faith-based organization, we know that when you’re going through health challenges, a little spiritual boost goes a long way. Our pastoral team is here to serve you by lending a listening ear, providing spiritual counsel, and praying with you. We’re also happy to connect you with a leader from your own religious community. To speak with a chaplain, call the Chaplain’s Office at extension 1138, or ask one of your nurses. Our chaplain is available on weekdays from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Guest Services

Cafeteria Hours

While our care team takes care of your loved one, let us take care of you. Our cafeteria serves food that aligns with our CREATION Life principles and is open weekdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. For visitors who stay later in the day, an additional menu is available until 6:00 pm.

Visiting Hours

You are so important to your loved one's healing. We want you to feel welcome here. Most areas of the hospital hold open visiting hours, which means you can stop by at any time. Ask your loved one's nurse about specific visiting hours as our front doors close at 9:00 pm.

Getting Here

While you visit your loved one, we want parking to be a breeze! Free onsite parking is available for all patients and visitors at our facility for your convenience.

Pastoral Care

A hospital stay can be an unexpected, anxious and a lonely time, not only for loved ones, but family and friends as well. AdventHealth Durand knows that your spiritual care is also an important part of the healing process. That’s why members of the Department of Pastoral Care are available to you and your loved ones during your time in the hospital, providing you with spiritual care and support.

Contact a Chaplain

Patients, their family members or friends can request a visit from a chaplain, and we are also available to assist clergy or other pastors coming to visit their congregants.
