DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., January 12, 2016 Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center has selected Leann Stewart to serve as director of risk management. In this role, Stewart will define and implement initiatives to proactively and systematically focus on systems of care, as well as work to continually improve patient safety.
She began her career as a critical care staff nurse in Florida Hospital DeLand's ICU in 1993 and has since served in a variety of nursing and leadership roles, most recently as risk manager at Florida Hospital DeLand.
A DeLand resident, Stewart earned certification as a Licensed Healthcare Risk Manager and is a member of the American Society for Healthcare Risk.
