2023 Volusia County Schools Sports Physicals - Volunteer Registration

AdventHealth is proud to be the Official Healthcare Champion of Volusia County Schools. As part of our partnership with VCS, we will be providing a FREE Pre-Participation Sports Physical event, along with FREE ECG screenings for all Volusia County Public School student athletes, including ROTC, Band, etc.. AdventHealth will provide 4 DAYS for screening opportunities at the Daytona International Speedway Rolex Midway Suites. In order to effectively serve our VCS students, each one of these shifts will require over 70 volunteers, both clinical and non-clinical. Make this an office event for you and your team and sign up together! Last year we saw over 1550 students. Registration was sold out. This year we are adding one more day and moving our event space to the Midway Suites at the speedway (just below the Rolex Lounge) which will offer a larger space to serve more students.

Times: Volunteers will be asked to be onsite for team meeting and overview 45 minutes before their start time.

SHIFT 1: Wednesday, April 12th, 5-9pm (4 hours)

SHIFT 2: Thursday, April 13th, 5-9pm (4 hours)

SHIFT 3: Friday, April 14th, 5-9pm (4 hours)

SHIFT 4: Saturday, April 15th, 9am-1pm (4 hours)

SHIFT 5: Saturday, April 15th, 12 -4pm (4 hours)

YOU MAY VOLUNTEER FOR MORE THAN ONE SHIFT. Select all that apply.

Who are we looking for:

Clinical volunteers: Vital signs, musculoskeletal screening, medical screenings and ECG screenings (MAs, Nurses, ATs, PTs, PAs, ARNP, Physicians, etc.)

Non-Clinical: Registration, check out, patient flow, athlete engagement, etc

Students may volunteer.

Please fill out the form on the right. Once we receive your registration, you will receive a calendar invite. Within this calendar invite you will learn more of what to expect, what to wear and where to go.

Each volunteer will receive an event t-shirt and be provided a light breakfast/lunch/dinner.
