Every Gift. A New Beginning.
Every gift to the Delivering Our Future campaign becomes a lifeline, for a mother in crisis, a baby born too soon, a nurse offering comfort, or a family finding hope in their hardest hour. This campaign is not about funding buildings; it is about transforming moments. Whether supporting cutting-edge training, expanding mobile outreach, or creating calm spaces for healing, gifts to the campaign deliver more than care, they deliver the future.
Where Readiness Saves Lives
The Simulation Center of Excellence for Mother/Baby ensures OB teams are not just qualified, but ready. By rehearsing high-risk scenarios like hemorrhage or uterine rupture, care teams can act with speed and precision when lives hang in the balance:
- Hospitals with simulation programs see a 37% reduction in maternal mortality.
- OB teams trained through simulation improve response time by up to 50%.
- 94% of trained providers report increased confidence during emergencies.
- Florida ranks in the bottom 20% of states for maternal mortality.
- This investment places AdventHealth Ocala among regional leaders in maternal safety and training excellence.

A Better Beginning for Every Birth
Every journey deserves a dignified beginning. The newly envisioned Baby Place Welcome Suite greets each mother with calm, clarity, and compassion. Over 2,500 babies are born each year at AdventHealth Ocala.
- 53% of those births are funded by Medicaid, underscoring the importance of equitable, trauma-informed care.
- Environmental stress during labor increases the risk of intervention, stalled labor, or surgical birth.
- Well-designed intake environments improve patient satisfaction by up to 27% and shorten triage times.
