Veronica first experienced AdventHealth through her husband’s care at the Pepin Heart Institute. Years later, when she arrived at AdventHealth Riverview on New Year’s Day with Influenza A and worsening pulmonary issues, she was met with the same warmth and professionalism. Nurses like Loretta and Rose, and respiratory therapist Sean, made her feel safe, seen and supported.
