Steven’s Miraculous Recovery at AdventHealth Connerton

In April 2024, Steven’s wife found him unresponsive and began CPR. Minutes later, he was rushed to AdventHealth Heart of Florida, where he was pronounced clinically dead for ten minutes before being revived. Doctors placed him in a medically induced coma, unsure if he’d ever wake up. But after transferring to AdventHealth Connerton for long-term care, Steven opened his eyes and recognized his wife immediately.

By July, he was home. Today, Steven walks with a cane, breathes without oxygen and continues to defy expectations. “It’s a hospital,” his wife said, “but it doesn’t feel like one.
