Sunil Bharwani, MD is double board certified in Family Medicine. As a family medicine physician, Dr. Bharwani provides comprehensive health care for patients ages 18 and older and has a special interest in geriatrics, preventative medicine, and chronic medical issues. With two decades of experience, Dr. Bharwani is proud to bring his expertise to Ocala and the surrounding communities.

Dr. Bharwani believes in a compassionate, empathetic approach to medicine. Whether helping his patients address common health concerns or ensuring they're up to date on their annual wellness screenings, he strives to build a strong relationship as a trusted health partner.

Diego Colom Steele, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist who cares for patients ages 18 years and older and speaks fluent Spanish. Dr. Colom Steele offers treatment for various gastrointestinal conditions, including irritable bowel syndrome, functional dyspepsia, inflammatory bowel disease and more.

Dr. Colom Steele earned his medical degree from the University of Medical Sciences in San Jose, Costa Rica, before completing an internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the University of New Mexico.

Anthony V. DeIorio, Jr., MD is a board certified general surgeon with over two decades of experience providing general surgery care. He utilizes the latest techniques and procedures with minimally invasive approaches. He specializes in breast cancer and breast surgery, biliary and pancreatic surgery, and advanced laparoscopic surgery including colon surgery. Dr. DeIorio also provides general surgical care of the gallbladder, hernia, and intestine.

Dr. Michele Hornstein is a board certified family medicine physician who has more than 20 years of experience in family medicine. She provides comprehensive care for families and individuals from ages 3 and older. Dr. Hornstein has an extensive medical background including preventive medicine, pediatrics and chronic disease management. She is excited to offer her expertise and passion for providing excellent patient care to the Ocala community. Dr. Hornstein is devoted to ensuring the longevity of her patients’ health and developing long-lasting relationships with them. She takes her time to understand symptoms and give correct diagnoses to ensure the continued health of all her patients.

Rebecca King, APRN, is an advanced practice registered nurse. Rebecca holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain University. She also earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. Since 2017, Rebecca has been a registered nurse at AdventHealth Ocala, working in surgical services and helping patients with pre- and postoperative care. Rebecca is highly dedicated to providing the best possible care for the body, mind and spirit of every patient to improve their overall health and well-being.

Sue-Wei Luu, MD is a board certified Internal Medicine physician who provides quality care with a special interest in preventative medicine, diabetes, and chronic disease management. Dr. Luu sees patients 18 years and older and is fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese). With over a decade of experience, Dr. Luu is excited to bring her expertise to Ocala and the surrounding communities.

Dr. Luu has a strong interest in preventative medicine and looks forward to establishing therapeutic relationships with patients to achieve optimal patient-centered outcomes that lead to healthier and fuller lives.

Andrea Miser, DO, recently completed a three-year residency at UCF/HCA GME Family Medicine in Ocala. She also has worked as a sports medicine extern for Community Health Network in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Miser believes healthcare should be approached as a team that includes the patient in the process. Her goal is to help her patients achieve their healthcare goals. When not working, Dr. Miser enjoys exercise—horseback riding, bicycling, hiking, and paddle boarding. She also likes traveling and reading.

T. Adam Oliver, MD, FAANS, is a board-certified neurosurgeon who treats patients aged 18 and older. Dr. Oliver offers advanced spine treatments, including posterior cervical fusion, ulnar nerve surgery, carpal tunnel release and thoracic laminectomy fusion.

Dr. Oliver earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University. He then completed a neurological surgery residency at the University of Tennessee-Semmes and a neuro-endovascular surgery fellowship at Capital Health Neuroscience Institute in Trenton, New Jersey. Dr. Oliver is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.

Allison Onkala, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant practicing family medicine. She sees patients of ages 12 and up for services like acute illness care and chronic disease management. She also performs physical exams, such as annual wellness exams and school and sports physicals. Allison earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Florida in Gainesville. She also holds a master’s and specialist’s degree in education with a focus on mental health counseling. Allison is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. She holds various licenses, including basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support.

Dr. Patel is dual board-certified family & geriatrics medicine physician Diplomate in American Board of Obesity Medicine & Lifestyle Medicine and a fellow of American Academy of Family Physician. His specialties include comprehensive care for younger & older adults, men’s & women's health, sub-acute & chronic care, weight management, behavioral health & o‑ce procedures. He is a passionate Geriatrician committed to a multifaceted approach to the care of older adults, promote wellness & independent function, reduce polypharmacy, manage dementia, delirium, depression, osteoporosis, sleep disorders, pain, and so much more.

Dr. Patel speaks English, Hindi, Gujarati and sees patients ages 12 years and older. Dr. Patel’s goal is to listen to his patients so he can understand what’s going on, their goals, and, most importantly, how he can help manage them. He believes a good doctor patient relationship is a key driver of clinical outcomes to promote good results and prevent adverse outcomes.

Sam Salimi, APRN, is an expert in gastroenterology care who completed his Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Simmons University. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Tehran, Iran.

Francisco Schwartz-Fernandes, MD is an orthopedic hand and upper extremity surgeon with nearly 20 years experience. He has advanced training and board certifications from the Brazilian Society of Orthopedics and Brazilian Society of Hand Surgery. He also served as Associate Professor at the University of South Florida for 6 years. He is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English. Growing up in São Paulo, Brazil, Dr. Schwartz-Fernandes often accompanied his father, an orthopedic and spine surgeon, to work.

Annie Topham, MD, is a gastroenterologist who obtained her medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, FL, where she also completed a residency in internal medicine. She completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Larkin Community Hospital, Palm Springs Campus, in Hialeah, FL, where she achieved the rank of chief fellow.

Jennifer Toro-Galarza, MD is board certified in Internal Medicine. She is passionate about providing high quality care to all of her patients through the different stages of maturity. Dr. Toro-Galarza specializes in acute and chronic disease management, adult preventive medicine, heart conditions and hypertension, intra-articular injections, joint disorders, and women’s health. Dr. Toro-Galarza sees patients 18 years and older and she prides herself in getting to know and listening to her patients and symptoms, and making them feel at ease. Her goal is to build a trustworthy relationship with each patient, empowering her patients by encouraging a healthy lifestyle along with education about their own patient health plan. Her mission is to improve the health of the Ocala community and beyond by delivering compassionate patient healthcare. In her free time Dr. Toro-Galarza enjoys reading and singing. She is fluent in Spanish which allows her to communicate effectively with her patients.
