Quality, Convenient Primary Care in Overland Park

Welcome to AdventHealth Medical Group Primary Care at College Boulevard, formerly known as Leawood Family Care. In June 2023, AdventHealth was pleased to welcome the patients, providers and staff of Leawood Family Care into the AdventHealth Medical Group family.

Our board-certified providers offer expert care for patients of all ages. From annual checkups to sick visits to specialty referrals, we have you covered. Our Priority Care walk-in service, seven-days-a-week availability and onsite lab and imaging make it convenient to get the care you need when you need it.

Priority Care Walk-In Clinic

Recognizing that convenient access is key to patients achieving and maintaining good health, our office has offered a walk-in clinic for more than 20 years. Priority Care is our way of treating patients’ unexpected medical needs. Always staffed by two board-certified medical providers, including at least one physician, the Priority Care clinic has access to the same staff, onsite lab, and X-ray services that are available to our appointment patients.

Our care is superior to other walk-in clinics because Priority Care is a part of the AdventHealth Medical Group Primary Care at College Boulevard practice, utilizing our full office staff, services and expertise. We accept the same insurance plans and have the same fee schedule and copays for Priority Care as we do for scheduled appointments, with no added urgent care fees.

Priority Care Walk-in Clinic Hours
Monday through Friday: 9 am – 7 pm
Saturday and Sunday: 10 am – 2 pm

Priority Care provides treatment for:

Acute sinus, throat, ear, respiratory illness
Minor orthopedic conditions/injuries
Skin problems
Allergies and asthma
Gastrointestinal symptoms
Simple lacerations
Urinary problems
Tests for strep, flu, mono, pregnancy
Urinalysis
X-rays

Priority Care is for quick access to our office when your illness or injury can’t wait; it is not for emergencies. Patients with life-threatening emergencies should call 911 or go to the closest ER.

Decades of Caring for Johnson County

Our story began in 1990 when a few young physicians met during residency training and then practiced medicine together as employed physicians at a Kansas City-area hospital system.

In 2002, those physicians struck out on their own to establish an independent family medicine practice that they named Leawood Family Care. Since then, our practice has grown and evolved in many ways, adding physicians, advanced practice providers, staff and space.

In 2020, we moved into a beautiful, brand-new, 15,000 sq. ft. office on the campus of AdventHealth College Boulevard.

In 2023, we joined the AdventHealth Medical Group family of primary care practices, making it easier for our patients and our providers to access vital health resources outside of our office.

We are humbled and honored to continue to meet and exceed our patients’ needs well into the future. Our work to provide excellent, patient-focused medical care has earned our practice a reputation as one of Kansas City’s premier family medicine practices.
