About Our Program
Welcome to the ASHP accredited PGY-2 Cardiology Residency Program at AdventHealth Orlando. Our residency program builds upon the PGY-1 foundation to develop residents into clinical pharmacists with specialized expertise in cardiovascular patient care. The 12-month program will focus on patient care, precepting, leadership, and research. Residents will have additional opportunities for specialized elective experiences based on goals and development. Residents who successfully complete our program are prepared for clinical practice across the spectrum of patient care, clinical academia, and board certification.
Please see additional information about our PGY-2 Cardiology Residency here and in the additional menus.
Thank you for your interest in our program! Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions you may have.
Sincerely,
Amanda Sowder, MS, PharmD, BCCP
