Dr. Ballantyne chose AdventHealth Orlando because pursuing a residency here has been a dream of hers since becoming an intern in her first year of pharmacy school. She was captivated by the opportunities that the program offered, including highly specialized rotations and a very diverse patient population. She is excited to get the opportunity to train in a large, academic institution, building relationships with her co-residents and the rest of the healthcare team. She is also excited to be challenged daily and find her niche in the world of pharmacy. When she's not at the hospital, Dr. Ballantyne loves traveling, playing volleyball, and going to Disney.
