Veronica chose AdventHealth for residency because of its strong mission-driven culture and the wide range of opportunities to gain exposure across various areas of pharmacy. She was also drawn to the supportive environment and strong mentorship that fosters both personal and professional growth. Veronica is excited to continue her residency journey at AdventHealth as a PGY2 HSPAL resident, where she looks forward to expanding her knowledge in areas such as pharmacy finance and strategic planning. Veronica enjoys spending her free time at the Universal parks to unwind and recharge outside of work. Veronica is no stranger to the Orlando area and enjoys spending her free time exploring Disney Springs and CityWalk with friends. Veronica hopes to grow into a leadership position where she can lead system-wide initiatives to improve pharmacy operations.

E.J. Marineau, PharmD

EJ chose to continue his residency training within AdventHealth due to the unique opportunity to further develop as a pharmacy leader while staying close to family. The robust HSPAL program at AdventHealth’s Central Florida Division offers a dynamic environment to expand his administrative and leadership skills, allowing him to make a broader impact across the health system. EJ values the ability to collaborate with co-residents, including many from his PGY1 year, and contribute to initiatives across multiple campuses. Outside of residency, EJ enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, staying active, and cheering on his Detroit Lions and Tigers. As a Florida native, he appreciates being near Orlando’s many theme parks and outdoor attractions. EJ is committed to growing as a healthcare leader and aims to build a career that drives meaningful and lasting improvements in the field of pharmacy.

Jihyun (Lucy) Chae, PharmD

Pharmacy School: Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy

Lucy chose AdventHealth for her residency because of the welcoming and supportive environment she experienced within the PGY1/PGY2 HSPAL program at AdventHealth Orlando. From her interactions with program staff and residents, she consistently felt valued and encouraged, which made a lasting impression and affirmed her desire to be part of this community for the next two years. Additionally, AdventHealth offers a wide range of clinical rotations and opportunities to explore leadership and administrative roles, aligning well with her goals to grow both clinically and professionally. Lucy is thrilled to start her PGY1 residency at AdventHealth, where she plans to broaden her clinical experience through diverse patient care rotations. She is also enthusiastic about beginning her MHA/MBA dual degree alongside residency, with the goal of building a strong foundation in healthcare leadership and administration. Lucy is excited for the year ahead and looks forward to developing both clinically and professionally as she works toward becoming a well-rounded and impactful healthcare professional. Lucy enjoys staying active through pickleball, tennis, and hiking. In her free time, she also enjoys crocheting, watching movies, and spending time with friends. Lucy is new to the Orlando area and is excited to explore its natural beauty. She hopes to spend time outdoors and is especially looking forward to spotting local wildlife like alligators and manatees. She’s also very excited to visit and explore Disney World for the first time in her life! Following residency, Lucy aspires to integrate her clinical expertise, administrative training from her MHA/MBA, and dedication to patient-centered care to make a significant impact within an organization dedicated to driving innovation and excellence in pharmacy practice and healthcare delivery.

Angel Dominique Posadas, PharmD

Angel chose AdventHealth for her residency because of the people—right from the first encounter, she felt a strong sense of community, support, and belonging among the residents, program directors, and broader team. It was immediately clear she would be joining a family that fosters personal and professional growth. This year, Angel is most excited to deepen her clinical knowledge and develop professionally within a large, dynamic health system. She looks forward to acquiring the skills that will equip her for a meaningful and impactful pharmacy career. Outside of work, Angel enjoys exploring new restaurants, lifting weights, practicing Pilates, and indulging her sweet tooth with unique coffee drinks and desserts from Yemeni coffee shops. Having recently moved to the Orlando area, she’s especially thrilled to take advantage of the year-round warm weather by visiting natural springs. and enjoying outdoor adventures. While she is still exploring the specific direction of her future leadership role, Angel is passionate about optimizing processes, streamlining workflows, and creating systems that make work easier for others.
