Dr. Louka chose AdventHealth Kissimmee because its reputation and the mission aligned with her goals. She always dreamed of working and being part of a team constantly striving for excellence by consistently delivering exceptional whole-person care. She chose AdventHealth Kissimmee specifically because she felt their positivity and welcoming atmosphere during her interview, which solidified her desire to start her career with AdventHealth. On top of that, they offer a wide variety of clinical rotations in the areas she's interested in like diabetes management, oncology, and critical care. This year she is looking forward to adding on a more comprehensive pharmacotherapy foundation and developing the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve excellence as a clinical pharmacist. In addition, she is very excited to transition from a student to a pharmacist and become part of an interdisciplinary team that provides patients with the highest level of care. Essentially, Dr. Louka is super enthusiastic about a year of both professional and personal growth under the mentorship of the passionate pharmacy staff. When she's not at the hospital, Dr. Louka enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, and going to the beach. Upon completion of residency, Dr. Louka plans to become a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) pharmacist and practice as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital setting.
