AdventHealth welcomes Daniel Tryon as new president and CEO for Hendersonville and Polk facilities

AdventHealth is pleased to announce that Daniel Tryon, FACHE, has been named President and CEO for AdventHealth Hendersonville and AdventHealth Polk. Daniel brings more than 15 years of health care leadership experience, most recently serving as president of multiple hospitals within Kettering Health in Ohio. His career reflects a deep commitment to clinical excellence, compassionate care and strategic growth. Daniel’s leadership has driven improvements in quality outcomes, expanded specialty services and enhanced access to care through initiatives such as the opening of outpatient medical centers and the expansion of Rural Health Clinic access.

Daniel steps into leadership for the AdventHealth teams here in Western North Carolina during a time of remarkable momentum, following the impactful tenure of Brandon Nudd, FACHE, who will assume the role of President and CEO for AdventHealth Waterman in Florida on October 6. Under Brandon’s leadership, AdventHealth Hendersonville and AdventHealth Polk advanced the mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ through transformative initiatives that expanded access to whole-person care across Western North Carolina.

"Daniel is a trusted health care leader with an unwavering commitment to patient care,” said Mike Thompson, CEO for the AdventHealth Southeast Region. “His proven ability to drive clinical excellence, combined with a deep commitment to mission-driven leadership, positions him perfectly to guide AdventHealth Hendersonville and AdventHealth Polk as we continue to elevate faith-based, whole-person care in our communities. His collaborative spirit and dedication to cultivating a supportive, empowering work environment will be a tremendous asset to our team members.”

Daniel and his wife are excited to join the community AdventHealth serves in Western North Carolina, where they look forward to continuing the work of building strong teams and expanding access to care.
