This strategic acquisition also includes the Asheville Urological Associates locations in Asheville and Hendersonville. This acquisition comes at a critical time for Western North Carolina, where access to oncology services has declined over the past six years due to closures and consolidations. AdventHealth’s integration of GenesisCare’s radiation oncology centers addresses this gap, ensuring patients receive high-quality, compassionate care in WNC and adding its whole-person approach to care to people across the state. The transition includes advanced assets such as linear accelerators, which are already integrated into AdventHealth’s outpatient departments, allowing for a seamless and efficient transition.
Welcoming Asheville Urological Associates to the AdventHealth Medical Group positions this team of specialists to provide uninterrupted care to their current patients with the support of AdventHealth to meet the growing need for urological care in our community.
