Biography

Michael Angelis, MD, is the Surgical Director of Kidney Transplant at the AdventHealth Transplant Institute in Orlando. A highly skilled and board-certified surgeon, his clinical specialties include kidney, liver, and pancreas transplantation. Dr. Angelis came to AdventHealth from Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, where he served as Director of Pancreas Transplantation. He also served as assistant professor of surgery and clinical assistant professor of urology at Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Angelis performs operations and sees patients post-transplant to ensure proper healing is taking place.
