Biography

Jay Redan, MD, FACS, is a pioneer in the field of minimally invasive, laparoscopic surgery and one of Central Florida’s most respected general surgeons with over 20 years of experience. His unsurpassed expertise in robotic, single-site, incisionless and endoscopic surgical techniques helps make AdventHealth Celebration – where he serves as Medical Director of Minimally Invasive General Surgery and directs the Chronic Abdominal and Pelvic Pain Program – a destination health resource for patients across the state of Florida and beyond. A recognized leader in his field, Dr. Redan has served as President of the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons and actively participates in many of the country’s most prestigious medical associations. His obvious dedication to his patients has also earned him multiple Patient’s Choice Awards.
