Expertise of Deepti Bhandare

As a little girl, Deepti Bhandare, MD, watched with great fascination as her mother and father, both doctors, cared for their patients. She saw the strong impact her parents had on their patients' lives and she wanted to help people too.
Today, Dr. Bhandare offers you expert heart care as a board-certified physician in cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, vascular imaging and internal medicine. She also has a special interest in treating vein diseases, including varicose veins.
After attending Goa Medical College in India, Dr. Bhandare completed an internal medicine residency and cardiovascular medicine fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She's an active member of the American College of Cardiology and American Society of Echocardiography, and speaks English, Hindi and medical Spanish.
To foster her whole health, Dr. Bhandare enjoys Zumba fitness workouts, traveling and boating.
