Biography

David Varnagy, MD, FACS, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained vascular surgeon with AdventHealth Medical Group in Central Florida. A bilingual speaker with fluency in English and Spanish, he earned his medical degree at the Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas prior to undertaking his residency training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami. He underwent his fellowship training in vascular surgery and endovascular therapeutics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Varnagy specializes in treating patients with circulation disorders, arterial aneurysms, venous disease, peripheral vascular disease, carotid artery disease and more via minimally invasive interventions. He is a certified vascular technologist and leading provider of vascular surgery in Central Florida.
