Translational Research Institute Hosts Breakthrough T1D For a Behind-The-Scenes Tour

Breakthrough T1D - Tour of TRI 6.25.25

We recently had the pleasure of hosting members of Breakthrough T1D for a behind-the-scenes tour of the AdventHealth Translational Research Institute. From walking through our clinical research areas to getting a close look at our state-of-the-art labs, the visit highlighted our commitment to advancing care for those living with Type 1 diabetes.

As part of the experience, Dr. Anna Casu shared an insightful presentation on the current state of T1D research, offering helpful information and hope to those impacted by the disease.

At AdventHealth, research is more than science—it’s a promise to keep pushing forward for better outcomes, more hope, and whole-person health. We’re incredibly grateful for our partnership with Breakthrough T1D and the shared mission to transform the future of care for those living with Type 1 diabetes.
