Shawn Perry Named CFO for AdventHealth Ottawa

AdventHealth Ottawa has named Shawn Perry Chief Financial Officer. Perry currently serves as Director of Finance for AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in Merriam, Kansas. Perry has held various finance leadership positions with AdventHealth since 2016, having previously worked in Orlando, Florida, before supporting the Mid-America Region in Kansas.

“We are honored to have Shawn join the AdventHealth Ottawa leadership team,” said Dallas Purkeypile, CEO of AdventHealth Ottawa. “He is known for his collaborative spirit, working with physicians, administration and multi-disciplinary health care leaders to ensure financial stewardship that will support our goals for continued growth in Franklin County.”

At AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, Perry has led budgeting, capital planning, productivity management and financial and operational analysis for the 504-bed hospital and ancillary services. Throughout his health care career, he has provided financial leadership for various service lines, including pharmacy, surgical services, radiology, laboratory and home health.

Perry has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska, and a Masters of Healthcare Administration from AdventHealth University in Orlando, Florida. He is currently participating in the Olathe Leadership Program.

“I look forward to joining the AdventHealth Ottawa team and building relationships with our Franklin County community,” said Perry. “I will support our team members and physicians to build on the incredible work they are doing and continue extending the healing ministry of Christ.”

AdventHealth Ottawa has provided health care in Ottawa for more than 90 years. Since joining AdventHealth in 2019, AdventHealth Ottawa has added oncology, orthopedic and rheumatology services and recently opened phase one of the AdventHealth Ottawa Health Park, offering renovated and expanded space for outpatient services.
