Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) can be difficult to understand and manage, as it causes difficulty breathing and shortness of breath. The readmission prevention program at AdventHealth North Pinellas is designed to help prevent hospital readmissions for patients with COPD through education and support. Anne Francois and Melinda Hess will discuss the tools offered through this program, including smoking cessation courses. Additionally, Melinda will discuss and address your questions about Heart Failure. You will also have the opportunity to take a tour of the new Outpatient Cardio-Pulmonary location. A complimentary lunch will be provided by Always Best Care.
