Our emergency department is certified by the State of Illinois as an Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP). Our team is specially trained to care for pediatric patients and our emergency department is stocked with specially designed equipment and supplies just for kids. Our department has transfer agreements in place with tertiary centers to accept those critically ill pediatric patients that require a higher level of care.
