N.C., — AdventHealth Medical Group Welcomes New Physician Assistant to Primary Care Office

Sep. 1, 2022; HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. – AdventHealth is excited to welcome Jaime A. Roy, MPAS, PA-C to its team at AdventHealth Medical Group Family Medicine at Forge Mountain. Roy is a certified Physician Assistant and has been providing exceptional patient care since 2013.

Roy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with a minor in biology from Emory and Henry College in Emory, VA. She went on to earn another Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Science from the University of Charleston in Beckley, WV. She then went on to receive her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Charleston in Beckley, WV.

Roy has a passion for providing whole-person care – mind, body, and spirit, by promoting healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise. “I approach all with an integrative approach to their wellness and feeling “whole,”’ Roy says, “I listen to their story, and take the time to understand what was going on in their life when they became unwell.”

Roy works hard to create a partnership with her patients by focusing on preventative health, as well as managing chronic health conditions. She is excited to join the team at AdventHealth Medical Group Family Medicine at Forge Mountain. She adds, “If a patient enjoys an integrative approach to their care, then I’m your gal!”

Roy’s connection to health and wellness extends to her personal life as well, where she is a level 1 certified CrossFit Coach. She also enjoys traveling, hiking, and kayaking with family and friends.
