AdventHealth Hendersonville Names Hudson Sutton to Take New Program Director of Operations Role

Mar 27, 2024; HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. – AdventHealth Hendersonville is pleased to announce the appointment of Hudson Sutton, MBA, to its new role of Program Director of Operations. Sutton brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role. He began his time on the team in Western North Carolina as a member of the AdventHealth Resident program. In his most recent role of Strategic Planning and OR Business Manager, Sutton increased surgery volumes and onboarded several new surgeons to expand choices for patients across Western North Carolina.

Sutton initially started college on a path to a clinical role in health care, but realized his calling to make an impact was pulling him toward the non-clinical side of this field.

“I have always wanted to make a meaningful impact in health care,” explains Hudson Sutton, MBA. “I am excited to be in this new role that will allow me to empower even more people. Empowering individuals allows those on the front-line performing direct patient care to be their best physically, mentally, and emotionally. This energy is infectious and makes a lasting impact on our patients and team members.”

In his new role, Sutton’s primary duties include program oversight, collaboration with executives, leaders and the community to shape initiatives to bring additional options for whole-person care to people living in our region.

“I have had the privilege of working with Hudson through several chapters of his health care career,” shares Brandon Nudd, President and Chief Executive Officer for AdventHealth Hendersonville. “He has developed skills surrounding our mission and service standards that help him build relationships with colleagues, physicians and the people in our care. Those relationships are vital to fulfilling our commitment to provide whole-person care to every person, every time.”

Sutton earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, TN. He also received his Master of Business Administration in managing for sustainability from the University of Colorado in Denver, CO.

Sutton is one of the most recent team members to take a new step in their Lighted Career Path. The AdventHealth Team Member Promise provides opportunities for team members to not only share their career goals, but also map out paths to help them succeed in achieving those goals.

For Sutton, AdventHealth’s persistent growth and amazing, connected culture align with his personal values, making him even more excited for this new chapter in his career. He is looking forward to building new and stronger relationships with patients, colleagues, and the community.

Please join us in congratulating Hudson Sutton on his new role as Program Director of Operations at AdventHealth Hendersonville.
