Rafael had undergone a life-saving surgery at AdventHealth East Orlando due to contracting bacterial meningitis. This surgery along with the care he received allowed him to continue to pursue his passion for ballroom dance.
When Tom was diagnosed with cancer, his life was turned upside down. With the support of his wife, Sheyla and Dr. Machado, an oncologist at AdventHealth East Orlando, he was able to receive life-saving care that allowed him to return to doing what he loves.
