DELAND, Fla., May 24, 2018 AdventHealth DeLand has selected two new leaders: Kyle Glass will serve as chief financial officer (CFO) as of May 28 and Samuel Aguero will serve as chief operating officer (COO) as of June 25.
A long-time member of the AdventHealth family, Glass began his career as an accounting intern/staff accountant with AdventHealth Zephyrhills. He later accepted a position with the internal audit staff at Adventist Health System, where he served as internal audit senior and internal audit manager.
Most recently, Glass has served as controller for AdventHealth DeLand. In this role, he assisted in completing month-end financials, annual budgets and capital planning.
Glass, an Apopka resident, earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Aguero began his career as an analyst with Sony BMG in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, and as a financial advisor with AXA Advisors in New York, New York, before joining the team at Adventist Health System in 2008 as senior/financial analyst and, later, as senior budget analyst.
Most recently, Aguero served as controller for AdventHealth Fish Memorial in Orange City, working closely with leadership to develop facility plans and strengthen service lines to increase market growth.
Aguero, an Orlando resident, earned a bachelors degree in finance from Andrews University and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University. Additionally, he is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
