- Affera™ Mapping and Ablation System
-
The Affera™ Mapping and Ablation System with Sphere-9™ Catheter is an all-in-one high-density (HD) mapping and dual energy ablation (pulsed field (PF) and radiofrequency (RF)) catheter for the treatment of persistent AFib and ablation of cavotricuspid isthmus dependent atrial flutter using RF energy. The Affera Mapping and Ablation System enables physicians to customize treatment based on a patient’s needs during an ablation procedure, using different energy sources and mapping capabilities to correct fast, abnormal heart rhythms.
- da Vinci® Robot
-
- Providing benefits to both patient and surgeon, the da Vinci® Robot combines remotely operated robotic arms equipped with minute surgical instruments and 3D real-time imaging to allow for an increased level of precision, versatility, and control in intricate surgical procedures
- Patient benefits include reduced pain, diminished scarring and complications, less blood loss, lower infection risk and faster recovery
- This innovative robotics tool provides surgeons a minimally invasive application in which to perform complex surgeries
- Dexter Robotic Surgery System
-
- AdventHealth is the first in the state of Florida to use this technology, designed to enhance the safety and efficiency of minimally invasive general surgeries like hernia repair and gallbladder removal
- ExcelsiusGPS™
-
- Cutting-edge robotic technology that combines surgical navigation and robotic guidance for minimally invasive spine surgery, designed to strengthen the safety and accuracy of procedures
- Benefits include smaller incisions, reduced blood loss, lower risk of infection, reduced muscle damage and quicker recovery
- AdventHealth is one of only six hospitals in the nation and the only hospital in the southeastern United States with this system — giving our patients access to some of the most advanced treatment available
- Designated as the first center in America for physician observation and training
- Ion Endoluminal System
-
Ion is a robotic-assisted endoluminal platform for minimally invasive peripheral lung biopsy. The system features an ultra-thin, ultra-maneuverable catheter that allows navigation far into the peripheral lung and gives our team unprecedented stability for biopsies.
During a procedure using the Ion system, a physician will insert the Ion fully articulating catheter into the patient’s lung via the mouth and throat through an endotracheal tube, which may reduce the chance of complications associated with traditional, needle-based biopsy approaches, and may help patients get answers sooner, affording more time to consider treatment options.
- Mazor X Stealth
-
- AdventHealth is the first in the state of Florida to use this technology, designed to enhance the safety and accuracy of minimally invasive spine surgery. It allows physicians to anticipate the needs and develop a personalized surgical plan for each patient
- Since smaller incisions can represent a challenge for surgeons due to the limited view of the patient’s anatomy, the Stealth addresses that issue by providing 3D surgical plans and analytics
- Patient benefits include less blood loss, less muscle damage, less risk of infection and faster recovery
- Robotic Stereotactic Assistance (ROSA®)
-
- Comparable to a GPS system for the brain, this robot can be used for any cranial procedure, but is primarily devoted to the treatment of epilepsy
- Features a robotic arm with six degrees of freedom to replicate human arm movement
- We utilize the only ROSA® in Central Florida
