Feel Community. Feel Whole.

Our Volunteer Services team manages AdventHealth's volunteer workforce within and outside our hospital walls. As a result of the various volunteering opportunities offered at AdventHealth, volunteers experience various benefits in both their personal and professional development.

Some of the many proven benefits of volunteering are:

  • Learning new skill sets
  • Developing better communication practices
  • Building new relationships
  • Increasing life expectancy
  • Improving overall health

Hospital Volunteers

With over 2,000 volunteers, AdventHealth recognizes that volunteers bring an important value to our patients and employees.

Starting August 15, 2019, all AdventHealth volunteer programs will be placed on hold due to a system-wide computer upgrade.  This upgrade affects our Altamonte, Apopka, Celebration, Children’s/Women’s, East Orlando, Kissimmee, Lake Mary, Orlando, Winter Garden and Winter Park locations.  We will be back up and running in early October.

We appreciate your patience while we grow and adapt to our new and improved systems and procedures!

Employee Volunteers

From building neighborhood parks to serving food to impoverished community members, our employee volunteers give back to those we serve.

Day of Caring, one of our signature volunteer events, encourages employees to volunteer at one of several sites throughout Central Florida.  This coordinated day of service encourages all employees to work on community projects and to learn more about community needs in general.

If you are interested in becoming an employee volunteer, please contact us at FH.Employee.Volunteers@AdventHealth.com or at Call 407-303-6938 .
