Ready, Set, Birth! Labor Express Class

During pregnancy, families are faced with many new decisions, questions, and emotions. Our childbirth class is designed to provide clear, evidence-based information that helps you feel confident and prepared for your labor, birth, and postpartum journey. Taught by an experienced obstetrics nurse, this class offers practical guidance, hands-on learning, and supportive discussion in a welcoming environment.

Topics include:

• Understanding physical and emotional changes during late pregnancy
• The stages and physiology of labor
• Pain-management options: natural comfort techniques and medical interventions
• Partner and support-person strategies
• When to come to the hospital and what to expect upon arrival
• Creating a positive and informed birth experience
• Immediate postpartum care for mom and baby

Make the most of this interactive class—feel free to bring your lunch or snacks as you learn and connect with other expectant families.

At the conclusion of the class, participants will enjoy a guided tour of the Labor & Delivery Unit, offering the same experience available during our Meet & Greet sessions.

Registration includes the expectant mother and one (1) adult guest. No need to complete a separate registration for the additional guest.
