That's why our compassionate and experienced Palm Coast ER team will take care to answer all your questions and give you a clear sense of what's happening. We know that you heal best when you feel properly informed and supported. We need information, too, because the more we know, the better we can serve you. We’ll start with the basics — your name, birth date, medical history, and the reason for your visit. We’ll also take your vital signs. Then we’ll determine how best to proceed.
Our 24-hour emergency room operates through a process known as triage, which means we prioritize care for patients in critical condition. This may mean earlier treatment for a later-arriving patient — such as someone suffering from a heart attack or stroke. We do all we can to ease emergency room wait times and get you the care you need, fast.
To help streamline your Emergency Care process, you may want to consider keeping certain information in your purse or wallet at all times. Include information like the name of your primary care physician, your insurance card, a list of your medications and drug allergies, and any advance directives (like health care proxy or power of attorney).
