We are proud to announce Dr. J. Scott Magnuson’s new role as chief medical officer (CMO) at the Florida Hospital Nicholson Center. Prior to this position, Dr. Magnuson served as CMO at Florida Hospital Celebration Health, providing him with extensive experience in the profession.
Apart from his work at our facility, Dr. Magnuson serves as the Medical Director of Head and Neck Surgery at Florida Hospital Celebration Health and shares his experience as Professor of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Magnuson also serves as the Secretary Treasurer of the Florida Society of Otolaryngology.
Authoring over 69 manuscripts and three books, ranging from the future of robotic surgery to nutritional support for patients, Dr. Magnuson is a respected expert in the medical community. As an orator, he has conferred over 130 oral presentations on related topics.
We look forward to the oversight, expertise and leadership Dr. Magnuson will bring to the Florida Hospital Nicholson Center's efforts of training, education and research.
