Whether you’re looking to talk to a chaplain or grab something to eat in a hurry, you’ll find everything you need through our onsite visitor services.
Food and Refreshments
On the ground floor of the hospital, you’ll find The Spice Rack: open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Choose from meat and vegetarian entrées. Or use the microwave oven to heat up your sack lunch. (You won’t offend us.) Need an extra boost? Pick up some complimentary coffee any time between 7 am and 9 pm — available in the cafeteria and in the PCU-vending area.

- Breakfast (Not on Weekends or Holidays): 7 am to 9 am
- Lunch: 11 am to 2 pm
- Dinner: 5:15 pm to 6:45 pm
If you’re staying with a child 12 or younger, you’ll receive one complimentary meal tray per day, delivered to the child’s room.
When you need a quick snack, vending machines are always open at the north entrance, the east entrance, The Baby Place, or the ICU and PCU lobbies.
Free WiFi and In-Room Local Calling
While you’re visiting your loved one, there’s no need to feel cut off from the rest of the world. Use our free WiFi and local-calling services to stay in touch. You can use the telephone in your loved one’s room by dialing 9 followed by the number you wish to call. For a long-distance number, dial 9, then 0, followed by the area code and number. After the tone, dial your credit-card number to pay for the long-distance call. To reach the operator, simply dial 0. To call your loved one’s room, you can dial 7 plus their room number.
Hospital Gift Shop
When you want to brighten your loved one's day with a special gift, visit our volunteer-run gift shop. Located in the North Lobby, the gift shop offers snacks, cold beverages, and a variety of gifts.
Pastoral Care and Chapels
As a faith-based organization, we know that when you’re going through challenges, a little spiritual boost goes a long way. Our pastoral team is here to serve you by lending a listening ear, providing spiritual counsel, and praying with you at any time. We’re also happy to connect you with a leader from your own religious community. To speak with a chaplain, call the Chaplain’s Office at extension 2203 or ask a nurse.
When you need a peaceful place to contemplate, pray, or relax in a healing environment, you’ll find it in one of our onsite meditation spaces. The Chapel of Hope, North Chapel, Garden of Hope, and Meditation Room offer spiritual refuge and places for healing. Feel free to attend our daily devotional services. Our full list of spiritual resources includes:
- Devotionals in The Chapel of Hope on Wednesdays at 9 am
- Spiritual Emphasis Week (once a year)
- Support Groups for tobacco cessation, cancer and caregivers, and grief recovery
Hospital Visiting Hours
We want you to feel welcome here. We hold open hospital visiting hours so you can see your loved one at any time. Visitors age 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. You can enter through the north entrance or the Emergency Center entrance, depending on which part of the hospital your loved one is staying in.
If your loved one is staying in the ICU, you can visit any time, except between 6:30 am to 8:30 am and between 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Want to send flowers to your loved one’s room? Need to take out some cash? We offer several guest services, including:
- ATM (North Georgia National Bank) located on the first floor near outpatient registration.
- Flower delivery service: delivered to guest rooms daily by volunteers (no live flowers allowed in ICU).

You have a lot of things to think about when you're helping care for a loved one in the hospital. Parking should not be one of them. This is why we offer free, convenient parking for patients and visitors, which is located in the front of the north and east entrances. Special parking is available for Emergency Center patients near the emergency entrance.
