Dr. Jeffrey Keen, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction, orthopedic surgery, robotic-assisted surgery, and sports medicine, has returned to AdventHealth Medical Group and is caring for patients at AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway.
Keen previously served the Flagler County community as an orthopedic surgeon at AdventHealth Palm Coast for over a decade before practicing at UF Health St. Johns in St. Augustine.
AdventHealth Medical Group is a team of nearly 450 employed physicians and advanced practitioners representing 30 different medical specialties. With 75 practice locations across Flagler, Lake, Sumter, and Volusia counties, AdventHealth Medical Group clinicians collectively cared for more than one million patient visits in 2024.
Keen’s return to AdventHealth Medical Group after five years marks a homecoming to the community and is part of the health care organization’s plan to bring nearly 15 orthopedic specialists to the area in 2025.
“This community means a lot to me and coming back to Flagler County feels like coming home,” said Keen.
“AdventHealth has built something really special here,” he added. “Earning the Joint Commission’s gold seal for joint replacements in the knees, hips and shoulders confirms what we already know – we’re providing worldclass care close to home.”
Keen earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Kentucky. He also holds a Master of Science in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Kentucky.
Keen completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Florida in Jacksonville and his fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and Sports Medicine at the Insall Scott Kelly Institute in New York.
Keen has contributed to numerous research publications and is committed to providing whole-person care to each of his patients, considering body, mind and spirit.
His clinic is located at 3 AdventHealth Way, Suite 250 in Palm Coast, and can be reached at Call386-232-9487.
