DELAND, Fla., November 8, 2018 – AdventHealth DeLand has named Jeff Bates as director of operations.
In this role, Bates will provide director-level oversight for rehabilitation services, in addition to the facilities, environmental services, and materials management departments.
Bates has been with AdventHealth for more than 10 years and most recently served as the facilities and materials management director. In this role, he directed new construction and facility capital projects and was responsible for the facility and materials management functions at AdventHealth DeLand and the hospital’s outpatient medical center at Victoria Medical Park.
A DeLand resident, Bates earned a Master of Business Administration from Stetson University and is certified in Lean Healthcare from Belmont University and John Hopkins University. This certification is designed to teach healthcare professionals how to stabilize, standardize and simplify patient care processes. He is also a State of Florida Certified General Contractor.
