Joe Perry has been named Chief Financial Officer of AdventHealth Littleton. Joe will be taking over the role from current CFO, Danae Still, who is transitioning into a new role as Regional Vice President of Finance. She begins her new role on March 17, while Joe will be joining the AdventHealth Littleton team on April 14.
Joe started his career at Loma Linda University Health in California as a management resident and since then has had a variety of roles including Finance Manager, Director, and Assistant Vice President of Finance. During his time in southern California, he was part of the team that successfully opened a brand-new multi-specialty clinic that, at the time, was the largest teaching health center in the nation.
Joe currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
“I am so impressed by the AdventHealth Littleton team members I have already met and can’t wait to meet more of the team in the coming month. I am looking forward to learning more from the entire medical staff, clinical, and supporting staff teams as we work together to strengthen the pathway for future financial success,” said Joe.
In addition to serving as the chapter president for the Southern California chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), Joe has had the privilege of supporting multiple organizational initiatives that have focused on process improvement and margin optimization during his career.
“I am so excited to join the AdventHealth Littleton team as the hospital gets ready to expand with the new Heart and Vascular Tower,” said Joe. “I grew up in Denver, so joining the Littleton team feels like coming home. I am looking forward to returning to Colorado with the opportunity to extend the healing ministry of Christ in my home community.”
Joe will be joined in Colorado with his wife, Amanda, daughter, Dakota, son, Eli, two dogs, and turtle. When not at work, you can find him training for his next marathon or ultra marathon.
