With expanded exam space, advanced diagnostics and pelvic floor physical therapy, this clinic offers timely, personalized treatment — reducing unnecessary surgeries and hospitalizations.

For nearly his whole life, Chris could often be found in his favorite place – the baseball field. He’d grown up playing and when a professional career didn’t happen, he did the next best thing, umpiring games. But all that activity took a toll and Chris found himself with debilitating pain. This led Chris’ doctor to recommend hip replacement surgery. But without a way for his insurance to cover the procedure, he was unsure what to do.
Thankfully, Chris became aware of an opportunity at AdventHealth Carrollwood. The hospital participates in Operation Walk USA, a nationwide effort to help under resourced patients dealing with debilitating joints conditions. 25 patients received lifechanging support last year, including Chris.
