Living Wholly
Jim and his family were at church when Jim fell ill. He was singing a tribute song to his daughter who has special needs, expressing how blessed he was to have her in his life and how much she'd taught him on his journey with God. But moments later, everything changed: Jim was having a heart attack.
The ambulance arrived within minutes and brought Jim to AdventHealth. While their friends and other ministers prayed with the church family, Jim's doctors were doing all they could to save him. Jim's wife was scared, her heart broken, fearing the worst but hoping for the best. Everything happened so fast. When the doctors came out of surgery, she could finally catch her breath — the procedure was a success.
Today, fully recovered, Jim is intentionally living a more whole life, praising God for his family, his church, and the care team that saved his life.
