Who says Christmas only comes once a year? This July, AdventHealth Tampa Foundation transformed the summer heat into a season of joy with our very first Christmas in July celebration. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, it was nothing short of magical.
All month long, friends and neighbors came together to make hospital stays a little brighter for children in our pediatric department. From colorful toys and fun games to heartfelt financial gifts, every donation carried the same message: you are loved, and you are not alone.
On July 25, AdventHealth Tampa came alive with laughter and cheer as families, team members and community partners gathered for the big celebration. The smiles on the faces of our young patients said it all—joy truly knows no season.
Because of your kindness, we collected more than 400 toys for children receiving care at AdventHealth Tampa. These gifts will continue to bring comfort and happiness long after the event, turning moments of uncertainty into moments of hope.
As McKenzie Doll, Executive Director of the AdventHealth Foundation in Hillsborough, shared:
“For children staying in the hospital, every day can feel uncertain and overwhelming, but a simple toy can make a world of difference during treatment. This Christmas in July event is also a powerful reminder that joy and kindness can shine any time of the year.”
