AdventHealth Wellness Center Zephyrhills offers over 30 weekly group fitness classes designed to get you moving in a fun, group atmosphere. Those individuals at different ages with different levels of fitness are encouraged to explore the variety of classes available at our fitness center.
Group Fitness Class Descriptions
- Les Mills Group Fitness Classes
Ideal for everyone, Les Mills BODYFLOW is a modern take on yoga with elements of Tai Chi and Pilates, set to music. Scientifically designed for a fitness club environment, it will improve your mind, your body and your life.
A barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout.
Provides the vital ingredient for a stronger body while chiseling your waist line. A stronger core makes you better at all things you do - it's the glue that holds everything together.
- Zumba® Classes
STRONG by Zumba®
Stop counting the reps. Start training to the beat. STRONG by Zumba® combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move. Every squat, every lunge, every burpee is driven by the music, helping you make it to that last rep, and maybe even five more.
In each class you'll burn calories while toning arms, legs, abs and glutes. Plyometric or explosive moves like high knees, burpees, and jumping jacks are interchanged with isometric moves like lunges, squats, and kickboxing. STRONG by Zumba® instructors change up the music and moves frequently to make sure you’re always challenged to the max.
A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.
Active, older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves you love, at a lower intensity. The design of the class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba® choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Come ready to sweat and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong.
Zumba® Gold (Seated Class)
This seated class allows for modified movement with fun, Latin routines that are performed while sitting in chairs or wheelchairs.
- Tivity Health SilverSneakers® Classes
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of seated exercises designed to increase muscle strength, range of movement, and activities for daily living, using weights, elastic bands, and a SilverSneakers® ball.
Experience standing, low-impact choreography alternated with standing upper-body strength work. This class is suitable for nearly every fitness level, and your instructor can adapt the exercises depending on your skill.
Move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of seated and standing postures.
- Other Group Fitness Classes
Shake up your cardio routine with speed hooks, lunge kicks & upper body drills. Work your core while you get a cardio workout & challenge your strength & stability from head to toe. Great class for beginners to advanced.
This class is designed to build core muscle groups while improving posture through performing a variety of exercises that strengthen the abdomen and back muscles and increase flexibility. The instructor may include a variety of equipment in this great workout.
Indoor cycling class that is a non-impact, highly effective way to build cardiovascular strength and endurance. Designed for all fitness levels, these classes offer a challenging opportunity to get your heart pumping, burn serious calories, and will improve your over-all cardiovascular health with regular attendance.
Step & Strength
Step & Strength is a full-body cardio and strength workout to really tone those needed areas. In this class, you can expect a mixture of upbeat, rhythmic stepping with various movement patterns to work the legs as well as some bar and weight plate exercises for a fun, full-body workout. There's plenty of options for modifications, leaving everyone feels the workout and leave with success!

Take the first step toward your best self by trying a group fitness class on us. Simply mention to a wellness center employee that you would like to try your first class for free. In order to enjoy your free group fitness class, please arrive 30 minutes prior to the class’s start time.
You cannot be a current or previous member of AdventHealth Wellness Center Zephyrhills.
AdventHealth Wellness Center Zephyrhills offers the Tivity Health SilverSneakers® Fitness program to individuals who are eligible. Members of participating Medicare health plans, Medicare Supplement carriers or group retiree plans may qualify for the SilverSneakers® Program.
This program is offered at little or no cost to you, and it is designed for seniors. Those interested in checking eligibility may do so by following this link directly to the SilverSneakers® website. You may also check eligibility by speaking with a trainer at the wellness center.
Reserve Your Spot Online
Online reservations for classes will open 5 days before the day of the class and close an hour prior to the start of the class. The maximum number of online reservations per class will be half of the class’s total available spots. Passes that aren’t reserved online will be available for walk-in members.
