Concussion Rehabilitation

Sports Concussion Program

Return to Learn
The Return to Learn program can assist your child in transitioning back to the classroom with minimal disruptions after a concussion. The skilled team at AdventHealth Sports Med and Rehab will work with your child’s school on:

  • Educational Testing Exceptions
  • Instructional Modifications
  • Workload Adjustments

Return to Play
When your child has successfully completed the four-day, four-stage concussion assessment without any of their concussion symptoms worsening, they can return to play. When they’re officially cleared by their physician, the necessary "Return to Competition" form will be completed for their school or team.

A Multidisciplinary Approach

AdventHealth’s Sports Concussion Program provides a multidisciplinary approach to concussion management, including multiple treatment options to expedite safe return to learn and play.
