Back Pain

Back pain drives more people to see a doctor than almost any other physical complaint. Our physicians apply the most advanced diagnostic tools along with the most conservative and minimally invasive treatments to resolve all kinds of spinal conditions. While some back pain is brought on by simple muscle strains and sprains and can be treated with rest, hot and cold therapy and over the counter pain relievers, many people suffer from chronic, unrelenting pain that may be tied to a more serious condition such as a herniated disk, stenosis (a narrowing of the spinal canal) or degenerative disk disease. The majority of such patients can be successfully treated via injections, physical therapy and lifestyle adjustments. But when necessary, our spine specialists can provide such corrective surgeries as discectomy, laminectomy, spinal fusion, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty and more.
