Internationally-renowned, minimally invasive spine surgeon and Medical Director of the Spine Health Institute in Altamonte Springs, FL, Chetan Patel, MD, has been appointed Chairman of the Navigation and Robotics Section of the North American Spine Society (NASS) for 2013 - 2015. Dr. Patel’s passion for research is leading the way in the treatment and management of spinal disorders. As chairman of NASS, Dr. Patel will continue to lead projects that help provide a better understanding for the causes of lower back pain and minimally invasive treatments that can dramatically improve upon the traditional treatment options available today.
