Victorria Stafford was honored with the SonShine Award for her willingness and desire to learn, her infectious laugh, and her commitment to the progress of her team.
Victorria (Torri) Stafford, CST, a surgical technologist at AdventHealth Murray in Chatsworth, has been honored as the latest recipient of the SonShine Award. Torri was nominated for her willingness and desire to learn, her infectious laugh, and her commitment to the progress of her team.
In part, Torri’s nomination read, “What truly sets Torri apart is her infectious laugh and the positive energy she brings to every situation. No matter how stressful or busy the day may be, Torri has a way of lightening the mood and lifting the spirits of those around her. Her presence makes the operating room a better place — not just for the team, but for our patients as well. Torri's dedication to both her personal growth and the success of our department is nothing short of remarkable. She embodies the service standards we have, including ‘love me’, ‘keep me safe’, ‘make it easy’ and ‘own it’. I am honored to nominate Torri for this well-deserved recognition, as she truly brings the "SonShine" to our team every single day.”
The SonShine Award was established by AdventHealth Murray and AdventHealth Gordon in 2017 to honor the hard work and dedication of their team members. The recipients of the SonShine award “shine” for the “Son” of God through their warm and comforting care they provide to patients and their fellow team members.
Awards like this one provide opportunities for patients, visitors and other team members to recognize and reward team members for exceptional accomplishments and demonstrated behaviors that are aligned to the mission, vision and values of AdventHealth.
Please join us in celebrating Torri and her dedication to providing whole-person care through her work.
