Patients in La Grange, Hinsdale and Woodridge now have expanded access to advanced general and minimally invasive surgical care with Michelle Campbell, MD, joining UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Medical Group General Surgery.
Dr. Campbell is board-certified in General Surgery with expertise in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery. Her clinical interests include abdominal wall and inguinal hernias, gallbladder and benign biliary disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), hiatal hernia, and benign small and large bowel conditions. She received her medical degree from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, completed her residency in General Surgery at University of Chicago Medicine and completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gastrointestinal Surgery at University of Chicago Medicine.
Dr. Campbell is committed to whole-person surgical care grounded in compassion, clinical excellence and evidence-based practice. She emphasizes clear communication and shared decision-making, working closely with patients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, personalized care.
