Shawnee Mission Health (SMH) welcomes Jacquelyn Allen, DO, a family medicine physician, to Shawnee Mission Primary Care in the Shawnee Mission Medical Building.
Dr. Allen is Board-certified in Family Medicine from the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. She is also Board-certified with the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and certified in Fundamental Critical Care Support and Basic Life Support.
"Caring for people is my passion, and I'm looking forward to developing relationships with families in the Shawnee Mission Health network," said Allen. "I focus on whole-person care for the whole family and want to partner with my patients in managing their health."
Dr. Allen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD, and received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of New England in Biddeford, ME. Dr. Allen was a resident at St. Luke's Warren Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program in Phillipsburg, NJ, where she served as chief resident for a year in 2009 and was Resident of the Year in 2010.
As a part of Shawnee Mission Primary Care Shawnee Mission Medical Building, Dr. Allen is dedicated to providing families with quality and convenient health care. The physicians and staff of Shawnee Mission Primary Care have provided personalized medical care to the community of Johnson County since 1979.
