Propelled by Pink: Community Invitation to AdventHealth Breast Cancer Remembrance Walk on October 6

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, AdventHealth invites the community to come together for a powerful evening of remembrance, hope and healing at the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk on Monday, October 6, from 5:30 to 7 pm.

Propelled by Pink, our community will walk with purpose – honoring those we’ve lost, celebrating those who continue to fight, and inspiring hope for a future free from breast cancer.

Held along the CREATION Life Path and beginning at 1151 Naples Road, across from the hospital campus, this event offers a meaningful opportunity to walk in support of those impacted by breast cancer. Whether you choose to walk, cheer or simply show up in solidarity, your presence helps shine a light on the importance of early detection and compassionate care.

The evening will begin with A Time of Hope and Remembrance, followed by a 1-mile community walk at 6 pm. Physicians, Nurses and other members of the AdventHealth Cancer Services team will be speaking, walking and connecting with patients and guests. The event will include refreshments and breast cancer awareness giveaways. Guests are encouraged to bring family and friends to share in this uplifting experience.

In addition to the walk, AdventHealth team members across our WNC locations will participate in a Pink-Out Day, wearing pink to spark conversations around breast cancer awareness and the life-saving power of regular mammograms.
