“Hello, my name is Todd Maggard.”
Todd’s stay at AdventHealth Manchester was unexpected, but what followed was a powerful reminder of the healing that happens when compassion meets excellence.
“I just want to say how appreciative I am of the care I’ve received here at the hospital in Manchester,” Todd shared. “I’ve been pleasantly surprised at the care I’ve been given from all the nurses in the ICU. Not one, not two, but all.”
Todd emphasized how every request was met with urgency and kindness. “Anything I asked for, I received. Anything I questioned, they got me an answer. If not then, they found it almost immediately.”
One moment that stood out was when he needed an iPhone charger. “This was unexpected for me to be here, and now I have an iPhone charger—compliments of one of the nurses.”
During his stay, Todd underwent four surgeries, each handled with precision and compassion. “The doctors have been incredible,” he said. “They walked me through each step with a clear plan and helped me understand how we’d achieve those goals together.”
Todd’s message to others is simple but powerful: “I would highly recommend AdventHealth Manchester to anyone. The care is just phenomenal.”
