Hendersonville, NC (November 13, 2018) Park Ridge Health Surgery Specialists is excited to welcome David M. Kulick MD, PhD, FACS, FCCP. Dr. Kulick is board-certified in Thoracic and General Surgery. He brings a diverse experience base to Park Ridge Health Surgery Specialists that includes inpatient and outpatient clinical care, clinical research and educational leadership.
Dr. Kulick earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry from Johns Hopkins University in 1989 and went on to obtain his Doctor of Medicine in 1993 from New York Medical College. In addition to this, Kulick completed a PhD in surgery from the University of Minnesota in 2001 and has been practicing Thoracic, Vascular, and General Surgery for more than a decade.
The culture of whole-person care is what drew Dr. Kulick to Park Ridge Health. I felt a camaraderie between the administration and the clinical staff that made for a happy work place. Patients that I had spoken with in the community were very pleased with their care and had nothing but good things to say about Park Ridge Health, says Dr. Kulick. This made me feel as if I were joining an institution that was not only devoted to quality of care, but to care of the individual as well. As a new care provider for Park Ridge Health, I am devoted to providing the best care to every patient, no matter what their circumstances.
Dr. Kulicks extensive experience in Thoracic and General Surgery rounds out the expertise of the Park Ridge Health Surgery Specialists team, says Christy Sneller, Vice President, Park Ridge Health Physician Services. To have a surgical care team now led by our four surgery specialists means direct access to vital care for the people in communities across Western North Carolina.
Dr. Kulicks decision to join our Surgery Specialist team solidifies our commitment to offering a holistic approach to care for our patients, said Jimm Bunch, Park Ridge Health President and CEO. He delivers leading surgical care options through his compassionate partnering with his patients on their health journey.
Dr. Kulick is married and has three wonderful sons. When he is not caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his family outdoors hiking and exploring. Some of his favorite past times include, listening to music, bird watching, playing the piano, and reading.
Dr. Kulick is welcoming new patients at Park Ridge Health Surgery Specialists, located at 80 Doctors Drive, Suite 1, Hendersonville. To learn more about Dr. Kulick, visit parkridgehealth.org or call Call855-774-LIFE (5433) to schedule an appointment.
