OTTAWA, KS — The AdventHealth Ottawa Volunteers continue their commitment to supporting future healthcare professionals by awarding three scholarships for the 2026–2027 academic year. Since 1973, the volunteer organization has helped 364 students pursue their education through its scholarship efforts.
Scholarship recipients must meet the following criteria:
- Be a resident of Franklin County and/or an employee of AdventHealth Ottawa
- Be enrolled or accepted into an accredited, health-related academic program
- Maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0
This year’s scholarship recipients are:
Emma Janssen, Wichita State University/Kansas State University – Nursing / Integrative Human Sciences
Mia LaMar, Neosho County Community College – Nursing
Haley Reed, Herzing University – Family Nurse Practitioner
